Stillman or Selanne for Cole?

Question - Hi, I was wondering what you think of this trade:

     I have been first in my keeper league since week 3, so I am hoping to win this year. I have Eric Cole though, and he is now out for the season. I got offered Stillman for cole, as well as Selanne for Cole. I can use either a RW or LW. In both trades I get a low draft pick as well. Do I hold on to Cole for the future, or get one of those guys now?

     Answer - This is another pretty interesting ordeal. Either way, I see the pluses. First, though, I am a big fan of keeping my roster the same, especially if I have been doing well, as you have. But, you also have to wonder if you can get better. If that is an option, then, as the top team so far, you really have to think that through. Either way, I can see this trade working out for you.

     Answer - I would have a very hard time parting with Erik Cole. I don't know what type of drop-off you have between Cole and who you replaced him with in your lineup, but his future looks awfully bright. I don't know what the rest of your roster looks like, but if you can remain competitive with an able replacement I would not deal him. It's a shame this decision has to be made because of the cheap shot Brooks Oprik laid on him over the weekend.
