Dealing Michael Redd?
Question from: bwilhelm
Question - I have a question about a keeper basketball league...
Our season is done and I am looking to deal Michael Redd. I am in a 12 team, very competitive league. Here are two offers I have on the table:
1) Zydrinis Ilguaskas and 2nd round pick for Redd
2) Ron Artest for Redd
3) Just hold onto Redd as a keeper...
Which one makes more sense to do? We are allowed to keep 5 players and I am
definitely going to keep Duncan and Arenas...other potentials are Josh Howard,
Antawn Jamison, and Nenad Krstic.
Luol Deng was traded for Zach Randolph. The owner said he basically just liked Deng and his upside better and felt that Randolph only helped him in 2 categories. Given the size and format of the league, should this trade be allowed to stand?
Also, we are looking to move our league away from Yahoo next year because of the lack of a 3rd party trade review feature. Would we be able to create our own private league using your site? What are the associated costs, customization features, etc. Thank you very much for your help.

Answer - Of the two trade offers, I would only ponder the Redd for Artest deal. And that is just based on what you might need in the other categories.
Redd, though, is a great scorer and would really give you a nice three-headed monster if you kept him alongside Duncan and Arenas.
The second round pick would be nice, but I am unsure how much longer Z is going to play.
